saudi business visa online
Which business activities the Saudi tourist eVisa allows, when you need a sponsored business visit visa, what an invitation letter must contain, and the fees.
For travellers from countries outside Saudi Arabia’s standard tourist eVisa eligibility list, the application route depends on nationality, purpose of travel, and available visa channels. The current official eVisa portal lists 66 eligible countries; India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Egypt, and Nigeria are not on that standard eVisa list.
Saudi Arabia’s standard tourist eVisa is currently available to passport holders from 66 eligible countries. If your nationality is not on that list, you cannot use the standard Visit Saudi eVisa route and should check the alternative visa options available for your circumstances.
Travellers from non-eVisa countries may still have other routes available, depending on their circumstances:
If your nationality is outside the standard eVisa list, you cannot apply for the regular Visit Saudi eVisa simply by using the online eVisa portal. The official portal directs applicants whose nationality is not eligible to contact the nearest Saudi embassy.
A visa on arrival should also not be assumed solely because you hold a non-eVisa passport. Separate eligibility conditions can apply, including certain routes for eligible GCC residents.
Indian passport holders are not on the standard 66-country eVisa list. However, India is currently included in Saudi Arabia’s official travel-package visa program, where authorized partners combine the tourist eVisa with flight and accommodation arrangements.
Pakistani passport holders are also outside the standard eVisa list but are currently included in the official Saudi travel-package program. Eligible travellers can use authorized package providers for the combined travel and tourist visa process.
Bangladeshi passport holders are not eligible for the standard tourist eVisa route. Bangladesh is currently included among the nationalities eligible for Saudi Arabia’s official package-visa program through authorized travel partners.
Indonesia is outside the standard 66-country eVisa list but is currently included in Saudi Arabia’s official package-visa program. Travellers should use the applicable authorized partner route rather than assuming standard eVisa eligibility.
Egyptian passport holders are not included in the standard eVisa eligibility list. Egypt is, however, included in the current official package-visa program for combined travel arrangements and tourist eVisa issuance through authorized partners.
Nigerian passport holders are not included in Saudi Arabia’s standard tourist eVisa country list. They should use the applicable alternative visa channel based on their purpose of travel and personal eligibility rather than applying through the standard eVisa portal.
If you have already submitted a Saudi visa application, use the relevant Saudi visa status-check service to check its progress. Keep your application or passport details available so you can match the status to the correct application.
